Im driving home tonight from across the other side of the city.
Oww look a booze bus set up on the other side of the road, these cops sure are smart, they set it up so you cant see it until the last minute and even then you cant turn around.
Driving, driving...........
Gauwd look at that dick head with the double mattress and base just tied to the roof of his car, no roof rack or nothing, no wonder he looks worried.
Driving, driving...........
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:sheet, he is driving into the booze bus trap.:pointlaugh:
I wonder what the cops thought? I bet they had a good giggle over his bed on the roof.

How about this guy? There's almost as much timber in the road ahead of the truck as still on the truck. (Or what's left of the truck.) Apparently there was a cross-drain in the road to the right in the picture. The overloaded truck dropped into the dip, and the rebound snapped the frame. Photographed from my car window, Aiken SC USA, December 1966.
[A perfect location, because that truck sure was achin'.]

The overloaded truck dropped into the dip, and the rebound snapped the frame. It doesn't look that overloaded to me. I'd say it's more of a case of a rusted out sub frame.
This genius merely forget to lower the dump body. Southwest FL USA, 2002.That reminds me of this pic (http://psychogoat.com/gallery/albums/miningpics/uh_oh.jpg) or this one (http://psychogoat.com/gallery/albums/miningpics/LOADER_IN_CRUSHER_015.jpg).

It's part of a whole rather funny series that I have on 'cornering'.
I'll upload them and post them if anyone is interested.

Likely both. Original load, estimated from debris on road, was about twice as high.

I thought I recognised this one as being at Century Mine
http://psychogoat.com/gallery/albums/miningpics/Truck_from_SW1_1.jpg
But there were no markings on the haul truck
Then when looking through one of Pawnheads other links I found this
http://psychogoat.com/gallery/albums/miningpics/Century_Zinc_Ladder_rescue.jpg
You can see the Pasminco Century Mine sticker on the top of the tray.
I guess someone was embarrassed and did a bit of editing.
BTW, these photos bring back some scary memories.
I used to have to drive all over the open cut pit in a small hilux ute.
Quite scary when you have haul trucks which weigh over 400 tonne loaded, with a very poor field of view, being driven by very tired people on 12 hour shifts.
Cheers, Jack

Here I was driving down the road today, to the local shops when this idiot started pulling out (even without indicating - and only 3 metres in front of me) from a stationary position on the left hand side of the road. I suddenly had to pull sharply into the second lane (fortunate there was one and no one was in it). As I went past I gave him a blast from the horn.
I was wondering if there had been another car coming up alongside (in the second lane) me and I bumped into him, would I have to pay for the damage caused to their car, or would the driver who forced me over be liable?. Given that in would be human instict to try and avoid a collision in this case it maybe detrement to one losing out - because of liability.
I hope I made myself understood.
Cheers
