I'm goin' on a road trip to 'find myself'. :- Taking my fishing gear and folding chair, a billy. a frypan, a blanket and my credit card. Might put a basic tool kit in the back and do some handyman work on the trip for petrol money.
I'll be taking the 4x4 on the big red ferry across Bass Strait to Melbourne and then I'm following the East coast up as far as Sydney (where I'll visit my new Great Grand Daughter :) ). Will be doing some fishing on the way up and back. I'd like to drop in and say g'day to any forumites who live more or less on that trail. Some tips on good machinery and timber outlets (minor species) on the way would be appreciated.
PM me if you'd like to meet up for a beer in your shed. :2tsup:
Cheers

If you don't mind a short drive out of Melbourne, I could show you through the local mill here and my stash as well. Even shout ya a few beers and a bed for the night and could do some fishing on the Yarra(only 100mts or so from my joint)

Sheddie it sounds like you may have the making of a good digital travel diary here.

Shedhands Big Shed Crawl.

Don't stop at Sydney, keep going.

Did you know Australia doesn't start until you get north of Rockie ( I used to say Townsville but I've lowered my standards)?

Mate the opportunity doesn't comes around all that often, half your luck!
