OK,

I know it sounds strange but...

I had a Telstra Technician come out, and he dialed a number into my land line, that gave a computerised voice that told him the number that that line was connected to.

Anyone know what the number the technican used was? :)

thanks Brains Trust!

You could also just look up your name in the phone book.
And if you've forgotten your name, then go outside and look at the street sign, and the number on your letter box, and look it up that way.

I just ring my mum and ask her.

Aha! but what about the number to make your phone test ring?

It used to be a simple 017 or something similar?.

I just ask my Mum to ring me back.

You're lucky. I wish my mum was just a phone call away, but unfortunately she's closer than that. :((
