Hi, after reading the joke in the Joke forum it reminded me of a recent mobile phone scam that is very tricky.
I recieved a text message, saying that this person would be ariving late from Heathrow airport due to late departure. Then asked if it was still ok to be picked up at the later time.
It all seemed that the text was harmless and obviously sent to the wrong number.
Most decent people would text back and inform them that the text was sent to the wrong number.
However if you did you would be charged an inflated price for sending the text like 1900 numbers.
I have now recieved 3 similar text messages. Beware and don't be fooled.
Cheers.
