I got a PM too. I told him to do a search:) And I refused to send him a free copy of TurboCAD.
I was a bit peeved to get a PM from someone who had just a single post to his name. Would it be possible to prevent people who had never posted before from sending PMs?

I too got e-mail and PM through this forum from this person. I previewed the email (on a work PC :D) - and it's from someone "in Europe" asking for a free copy of CAD software.

I'm not sure it's SPAM, but it certainly looks a bit iffy...

Be careful, overhere in the UK they dismiss people who use the company computer to access the web for private use.

I mean since Doug's crusade and the change to the rep system, we who used to have the power are now but eunuchs.

It seems to me that the whole rep system has been watered down to the point of being a waste of time. And I liked my greenies too. :(
