Been busy

This thread really shouldn't be here because it's about woodwork :D But I've been busy in the shed, working away on something that I didn't have the right stuff for and so tried an experiment which is showing great signs of going badly pearshaped. But I'm not going to tell you what it is - if I get away with it, I'll be bragging about it the boat section. If it flops, I'll just quietly let the whole thing sink into the morass that is this forum :D

Oh you lucky sod. I've only got chateau cardboard and the only way that works is to scoff enough very quickly so that you don't notice how horrid it is. However, I do have the movie 'Spitfire' on DVD - it's only the fifth or sixth time I've seen it :D
