Is this one for the twilight zone or is there a logical explanation for it or is it just another one of the mysterious things that are happening on the forum lately?
I recently received a greenie from a fellow forum member complementing me on my "mesmerising" avatar. I just checked my user CP and there it was - GONE. lost without a trace, vanished into the ether, probably never to be seen again!
Has anyone else ever had an experience like this?

Doug, it has happened to me in the past as well ,both lost points and had the rep points I gave out go as well , I think it occures when the moderators, the axe or whoever is in controle removes a thread completely , then all the attached changes to reputation points given on that thread dissappear as well.
If you need the green badly pm the person and ask nicely for another one:D :D

Did you put the person on your "Ignore" list?
That will do it.
PS. I hope you wear your low cut number when you are in Melbourne.

Now why would i put anyone who thinks enough of me to give me a greenie on my ignore list. my ignore list is empty!!! My philosophy on life is that there is something to be learned from EVERYBODY, even if it is just hiow to p|ss somebody else off. this greeenie was there and then suddenly it wasnt, its bizzare.
I hope you wear your low cut number when you are in Melbourne.
No way!!! it will be the last weekend in february, too far south for low-cut numbers at that time of the year, particularly in the evening. if you are so kinky you want to see that come north sometime in the summer and wear your best foilie and sexy underwearhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gifhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gifhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gif

Doug,
Count your list of reputation givers, your list will only show the last 25......so perhaps it has just dropped off the bottom.
If it will make you feel any better here's a greenie with the comment repeated.....be warned though 25 more reputations given to you and its gone.

Hi Kev, i am aware that onlythe last 25 show up in the user cp, but this one was at position 1, with 24 below it. the other 24 remained but for some reason which has not yet been adequately, or even inadequately explained, this one disappeared from the top of the list!!! btw thanks for the greenie, but i wasnt fishing, just trying to let the powers that be know that there maybe a problemhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon14.gif

Well its not all that serious is it? greenies are a bit of fun on the forum but really they dont mean anything. look at the smilies on my original post in this thread. it is just a bit of funhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gifhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gifhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gifhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gif
