I welcome the concept of Eddie Everywhere heading up Channel Nine. This way I won't have to see his face on the box as often.

How anybody could say he's an obnoxious waste of time is beyond me. Like him or hate him I don't care but he has been great for the game of footy (not just Collingwood).

I find high profile people to be totally different when you speak to them face to face.

Eddie is a great bolke in that regard, same as quite a lot of other celebrities I've met, but some are just arogant busterts who are so up themselves, won't name them but pollies have there fair share of reps in this catogory.

As for behind the scenes support of causes and sports their are many that shine without seeking recognition. Think Eddie deserves respect in that regard. (Go Eddie, Make a damn fine President.)

I couldn't give a rat's rectum if he runs channel 9. I don't watch it anyway. Except for the cricket and I kill the sound for that.
