i need to replace a deck around an outdoor pool that is around 100-500mm off the ground that is all rotted out. it has artificial grass on it and i want to keep this.
when i rebuild the deck, what sort of material would be best used on top of the deck frame to put the artificial grass onto again?
this deck is exposed to weather.

I would be looking at the compressed cement sheet for longevity

why didnt i think of that? 18mm looks the go there.
and drill some 13mm or so holes in it you reckon for water drainage? around 60sqm of it

There are online instructions from some of the artificial turf manufacturers with regards to installing over hard surfaces I would read up on some of them. It may be better to waterproof the deck with a membrane that would protect the structure ??

Agree with a cement sheet product. If possible, I'd also consider giving the new subfloor a minor fall to drain water, say 2 degrees
