I want to build a couple of garden sheds without having to obtain a council building approval and I see online they state, its area must be under 10 square meters, no side can be longer than 5 meters, and the maximum height is 2.4 meters with an average mean height of no more than 2.1 meters.
When they say no side can be longer than 5 meters do they mean the shed can be 5 meters long and 2 meters wide.
I had always thought a no building approval garden shed is 3m x 3m and a 5m x 2m shed would be a better use of space for storing the zero turn and push mowers during our 6 cooler months.
