Good afternoon,

My name is Thomas or Tom for short and I've been a lurker since about 2017 when I first got right into woodwork but recently joined the forum as I now have a decent workspace and am acquiring machinery hence seeking some more specific guidance which I'm confident the many knowledgeable members here will be able to offer.

So far I've tried my hand at turning, box making, fine furniture and veneer work but enjoy anything made from wood and the associated tools and machinery.

Anyway that sums it up for now just thought I would announce my presence before jumping in - I look forward to your comments and suggestions and hope I can contribute my knowledge to this wonderful resource.

Have a great day, Tom

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Tom" .....
There are quite a few members in & around that cold part of the inland northern NSW with a stack members cross the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie

PS - I've heard you've got a pretty good Mens Shed in Tenterfield

Thanks Crowie,

Would be great to catch up with some local enthusiasts – I suspect we are more common than we realise.

Good to hear about the men's shed. It's not very well publicised in the town but then I haven't really been looking.

Will do with the pics and projects as I get time. Mostly working on machinery at the moment.

Cheers, Tom
