The original Victorian state government support package at the start of the original COVID lockdowns was for the hospitality and tourism sectors - but on the 1st of May it was expanded to just about all small businesses except sole traders - Supporting More Victorian Businesses Doing It Tough | Premier of Victoria (https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/supporting-more-victorian-businesses-doing-it-tough/) - correct link posted now!

Don't know - don't care - I'm trying to keep my business alive - this $10,000 grant would have made a massive difference. Heard the announcement when they first did it but it was only for toursim and hospitality sectors - never heard about the expansion to all sectors - and applications closed on June 1st:cry4:

The media release doesn't say what the eligibility requirement is and no link to any application procedures. How do we know if it's helpful or not? it feels like its being cooked up in the last minute with no substantial planing behind it.

Posted the wrong link - it was only through today's announcement that I found out about this one - Supporting More Victorian Businesses Doing It Tough | Premier of Victoria (https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/supporting-more-victorian-businesses-doing-it-tough/) - $10,000 grant for small businesses in Victoria.
