Pulled up at a traffic light, looked into the yard of a set of units while waiting.
Temperature was 34C, time was around 11am, sunny, little cloud, slight breeze, (enough to flutter the washing), bloke dressed in thongs, shorts, short sleeved shirt, unbuttoned, he was wearing a cap not a brimmed hat.
What was he doing, using a pressure sprayer and spraying a “garden” which was full of tallish weeds. I made an assumption, he was not spraying fertiliser.
Just last week I was reading an article about weed killers which claimed that glyphosate was a cancer causing agent but was by far the most common weed killer used. I don’t know whether it is or isn’t but I was always of the opinion that when using any chemicals you should always prevent any unnecessary exposure.
The light went green and I drove on shaking my head........
