I have recently caught the woodworking bug. Im an amateur, make mistakes or do something the noobie way. Youtube, bunnings and ebay are my favourite places.
I started off making tools, that needed tools to be made, to be able to make them.
I have made a cross cut sled for a circular saw. A drop down grinder jig. A kreg pocket hole station with storage.
I found accuracy of angles hard to achieve and purchased tools like engineers square, digital vernier caliper and a digital sliding bevel.
Also starting to get my dust collection routine in order.
I am making the "Cosmas Table Saw" (youtube it). The "Jay Bates router lift XL" (you tube it). and will combine them with a jig saw into a new bench.
I am also making folding assembly tables to match the size of my bench to triple my work area.
I would like to hear from other woodworkers in my area. I have a garage full of tools where the only tools I believe im missing are a jointer planner and a thickness planner.
