Hi,
I’m a young woodworker at the age of 14 and love making stuff for my family and friends. I’ve made a few things and I came here to learn more about the woodworking craft from other enthusiasts or professionals. I enjoy woodworking very much. Thanks to my Dad for getting me several tools and machines to get started. Hope to repay him in one way or the other.

Thanks.

Some VERY nice work you've done there young Bilmore, something to be very proud of. Your parents should be very proud of you also. :2tsup:
Did you do the items in the utensil holder as well?? Where in the Adelaide Hills are you??

Welcome to the forum Bilmore and great to see your enthusiasm. Judging by your projects you are getting very good tuition and developing excellent skills.
When my son was your age I encouraged him to work with me in the shed and was not afraid to let him use my tools, both hand and power and taught him not only how to use them correctly, but how to respect, care for them and use them safely. This was a good grounding for when he started an apprenticeship as a Carpenter.
Keep up the projects and post photos of them in the appropriate sections of the forum when completed.

I wonder if you can have a good career in woodworking.

Welcome Bilmore12 ,with anything to do with wood or metal well there's lots of info herein.
I like what you're doing judging by the pics you have posted.
Perhaps if I may suggest, consider any further grounding like Manual Arts courses run by Tafe .This would give you a heads up if considering tasking a career with woodworking as your intention down the track.

You must be special in WA as we lost that privilege years ago. Our local TAFE used to run many hobby type short coarses but now you struggle to even get more than your basic subjects for a trade qualification.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Bilmore".
There are a lot of members in and around Adelaide and across Sth Aust.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you keep showing off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork ..
