Hi,
I hope this is okay. I'm a complete newbie, female, I'm actually a crafter so I dabble in lots of handicrafts, crochet, sewing, I know, this is entirely different.
I do not have a work shop, living space circumstances will probably not allow it, but I enjoy seeing amazing wood projects, and feel that wood creations may be more practical than some of the things I make. I have dabbled with laser cutting wood a few years back, but my circumstances have changed over the years (started a family) so I have not gone back to it.

Disclaimer, I will probably lurk on this forum for a while to see how I can go about getting into woodworking.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Don't worry about being a stalker, there are heaps of members who never post and just stalk, hey I was one of them for a while.

I'm sure there will be members in your area that are willing to help you out in whatever project you may require, some may accept a bottle of red or whatever as payment some may be happy to help you off their own back.

Also if you're really can't have a work area there are plenty of "mens sheds" around that provide a workspace find the cloest one and check them out. I'm sure they won't mind having a female guest in their premises.

Welcome to the forum.

Of course it is okay to be newbie, tell you a little secret we all started from the very same position. Best way in learning is to come up with a project you want to make and ask questions when you become stuck.
