Recently there was a picture of an Ohio driver license where the guy was wearing a colander (spaghetti strainer) as a hat. He claimed that it was his religion. He claimed that his religion was "The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster". This church will sell ordination certificates for $25 each.

I said to SWMBO that we need to order two certificates of ordination for our boys for Christmas presents along with colanders.

SWMBO got rather irritated and says "No way." I say, "No sense of humor."

I'll have to agree with you there; clearly your wife is no Pastafarian!

The idea is that nearly all forms of photo ID require the subject to show the full face and head with no hats or sunglasses or anything else which can obscure features... but an exception is made for items that express the religious beliefs of the subject.'s So Sikh's can wear a turban, Jews can wear a yarmulke and in many Islamic countries women can wear a full burkha. And Pastafarians can wear a colander!
