Looking for some help from the math gurus here.
A FB friend has put up a puzzle that has got me beat, it's in 3 parts. I've solved the last part, but the first two parts have me stumped. Any ideas?

I feel like a bit of a dill, the first two rows of numbers have nothing to do with the puzzle, it was only about the binary part.:doh:
