Hi
I'm planning on putting up a front fence and considering to use mixed materials. My current plan is, for every two panels of colour bond, there will be a narrow timber section. Something like below:

Will there be issues with this sort of design? Should the Colourbond and timber posts be glued together when setting them in?
Any thought appreciated.
