Hi guys,
Just thought I would introduce myself. Been on the forum for a couple of weeks now. My name is Doug, been a hobby woodworker for a number of years, nothing serious, mainly doing shaker and mission furniture and dabbling with turning etc. But as a Newman casualty I now have time on my hands, so am starting to get serious into turning, pen making, boxes etc. Hoping to be able to sell a little, enough to bring some food to my stomach and pay the rent.

Love all the info and support here, its a great place to be.

See ya on the boards.
Douglas

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Doug".
I think you'll find a few folk from the the Brisbane area on the forum.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork / turning.
Cheers, crowie

Welcome Doug.

Hope you enjoy your time here. Keep an eye out for get togethers. They are great. I'm organising on for Feb next year in Jerilderie (southern NSW). Puts a new dimension on the forum and good to put a face and personality to the ones you get to know on here.

Regards

Dave
