G'day, This has probably been asked before, but.....I've just started making bandsaw boxes and would like to find a good finishing wax that can be buffed by hand and gives a good sheen. Any tips?:)

I'd suggest trying EEE Ultrashine (http://www.ubeaut.com.au/eee.htm) for a beautiful finish or alternatively a Cainet Makers type wax (like Traditional Wax (http://www.ubeaut.com.au/trad.html)). The Ubeaut ones really do work very well.
Cheers

Hi guys,
Just a quick note. EEE cream is not a finishing wax, it's actually a very fine cutting compound, which leaves a very smooth finish. You should use a finish over the top of it. UBeaut Traditional Wax is an excellent choice. Gives a great lustre and clarity.:2tsup:

D'oh! You are right, of course, Rob. I should think more sensibly before firing off responses:B
