would like to danish oil frame and top. just wondering the duribility of danish oil?

if not the best product, what would be a good one? wipe on poly? hard burnishing oil?

I'd suggest Hard Burnishing Oil for the frame and the top using this method (http://www.sanding.damnfinefurniture.com). Liquid resistant (hot and cold) direct heat resistant (hot pans directly on to it, steaming pot lids too, no problem) You can use whatever kitchen cleaner you have available with no adverse affects. (say, Spray and Wipe for example) Never loses it's cool!
