You are driving along a two lane road (as in around Albert Park Lake) with a NO PASSING sign posted, and come upon a bicycle rider.

Do you;

A) follow this slow-moving bicycle rider for the next 2 miles, or do you

B) break the law and pass?

Which is the correct choice?

Absolutely no doubt in my mind. You did the wright there mate by staying behind, driving at safe speed, and concentrating on the job in hand http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/liebe/love-smiley-086.gif
Good driving in my opinion.

I guess your wife wasn't with you when you took this picture. Did you delete it from the camera - if you haven't do it now!

If she is looking for somewhere to park that bike, she's looking the wrong way. :D

You might want to qualify that Iain, what if the owner of the bike is a 30 stone man

Pony Pellets it's me, someone else started it and now everyone thinks it's me, it's a bit rugged, the thought of it and 'she'.
I imagine, and I mean imagine that it would be like sleeping with an overinflated life raft.
Having said that she could share her bank account with me :D :D

I would definately prefer to follow slowly ( kind of just keeping up ) rather than take the footpath option! ( mSome heavy traffic there )

Saw an interesting accident the other day while driving down from Melbourne to Sale. Guy on a bike with his daughter in a seat on the back decided to go around the inside of a parked car rather than around the outside. Guess he figured there was less chance of hitting an opening door by avoiding the drivers side.

he didnt notice the car had a passenger and the inevitable happened.....passenger leaps out of the car and the guy ends up in the ditch.

Same thing happened to me years ago when I dropped my wife off at work in the city, bike travelling down the deep gutter at a million miles an hour clocked the door as she opened it and went through the window smashing the mirror on his way through.
Came up full of abuse and ranting about how it was going to cost me.
Insurance company recovered from him for my power mirror, window, panel damage and power window mechanism, cost him about $3000.00.
You just don't expect to see someone coming along the gutter and the police agreed.
I don't know if he was charged with anything but bike riders can be a bit pious at times.
