Solid Eastern Mahogany table

I am building a solid Eastern mahogany table and i was wondering what is the best way of joining the tabletop to the framework. I have finished the framework which is four 150mm X 150mm X 350mm solid legs and railings that Mortise into the side of these legs in a square frame.
i have the tabletop done as well however i dont know how to join them together properly. i have been told right angle metal brackets could work however i have also herd of using a biscuit joiner to make a grove in the railings and make a piece of wood to screw up into the table.
i am lost and need some guidance
it is a heavy table and needs to be strong.

Been a little while since your last post as I think you posting in the finishing sub-forum might had people thinking that you were going to finish the table. :rolleyes:

I have also used figure 8's to attach the top to the frame on a hall table.

This is to allow for wood movement as the wood will absorb and discharge moisture.
