Yeah? So I got the presents wrapped last night. I had to do it that way in case I'd forgotten someone.
Merry Christmas you pack of reprobates ... and the socially acceptable among you. May your day be peaceful, your kids happy and your hangover's delayed until you return to work.
Cheers

my excuse is that I am waiting for my shortbread biscuits to cook....
and for my 13 yo to go to sleep so santa can come.
I have learnt heaps today, some of which are
1. never start cooking with your teenager at 9.30 on xmas eve
2. never start cooking with your teenager. full stop
3. a slow oven is not 220 degrees with the fan force on
4. When your teenager realises the real santa they stay up a lot later
5. air compressors are really hard to wrap
6. when you take burnt shortbread biscuits out of the oven (refer to 3) they are really hot and you shouldn't use your bare fingers to remove them from the tray
7. I am really tired after getting ready for xmas, can i sleep in tomorrow?
8. I cant sleep in tomorrow the 9 yo is getting up "before the sparrow wakes up to fart dad!"
9. I did say I was going to be prepared for this next year, last year
10. I am starting to enjoy xmas more as i relax and go with the flow, it ain't all that serious.
Happy xmas and such like to alll

Just got back from a quiet Christmas eve with friends. We haven't got any family in Melbourne so I'll be spending tomorrow in the shed.
Merry Christmas and a bah Humbug or two.

Just finished watching Carols by Candlelight and thought I'd better check this before going to bed. Sentry duty.

Wot's this midnight lark? Still only 2325Hrs here in sunny QLD. Curious as to how many are stayers on Xmas eve. I will be here for a lot longer yet, by myself I expect. Might have to catch up on a few old posts in case there is something I missed. Night shift on Xmas eve is pretty tedious. Are we desperados? Maybe. Even my colleague occassionally blasts me with a chorous of "get a life!"
Weary regards and best wishes for tomorrow

Oh yeah. Pressys alright. The lad is in the next room knocking in his new cricket bat. The tapping is driving me madder than usual ... so I escaped ... to this asylum.

here I am still here at 11.20 on xmas night (not eve) I have my new toy in the "shed" .
only a 24l GMC compressor, might wake up the kids and wife if I start it up now.
I only have one question, it has 2 outlets, 1 regulated (this has my prized staple gun attached for upholstery at the moment) and the other one is direct, what can I use that for other than blowing dust around? I will have to go out on the morrow (or next pay day) and purchase some connectors that are suitable, (I am told my old ones won't let enough air thru anymore) I do have an idea what i need but can't remember the name of them, anyways someone will tell me somewhere.
hope to play in the morning

If you are going to use a spraygun you could always fit a regulator dedicated to it so you dont need to readjust pressure when changing from nailgun to spraygun etc

Gazza,
you want "Nitto" fittings as they flow more air than equivalently sized Ryco's and others.

yep they is the connectors that I got b4.
the ones I had fitted to my staple 15 years ago (or so) are not the nitto ones, so will have one hose with nitto on one end and the old fittings on the other (why you ask?, well because I am stubborn and evryone else has nitto on their guns and I dont wanna)
I will see if my old regulator will be able to be fitted in the unregulated one....
I got a cheap ait tool kit from big w for $15 with claytons nito fittings, they seem to serve the purpose.
now need to find out lots of things to do with it rather than doing stapling (upholstery!), cause I havfta do that I have bn told.
