A kiwi snuck in

Hi All. Pretty new to woodworking. Other than the usual DIY I haven't really done much since my school days about 20 years ago. My wife and 2 little terrorists moved into a place with a larger garage and I recently inherited an old Tanner table saw/ buzzer from my dad, so thought I should give furniture making a crack. Signed up for a woodwork class and ready to go.
Lookng forward to some advice!
