G'day, everyone I have been making furniture,sculptures,turnings and large shields over 30+ yrs.And still love it. Play in the shop almost every day.But very new to using forums to look up info or share ideas.This will be an interesting learning curve.Always looking for better ways to do a job.I will be reading with interest. Happy Wood Working everyone.

Welcome to you Shield Maker, What sort of shields do you make are they heraldry or Medieval Fighting shields? Would like to see some of your work.

Thanks Steve for your warm welcome too. My sheilds are more like turned
freeform sculptures, or free standing works of art. I will try to upload some photos soon.
