G'day, my name is Dave. I live in Canberra with my wife and daughter. I have been an avid amateur woodworker for about 15 years. Initially I was only really doing picture frames and the odd bit of work around the house, but I got myself a real table saw a few years ago and since then have been taking on more complex projects (tables, wardrobe, desk) and loving every bit of it.

Looking forward to meeting new people, getting and maybe giving some advise.

G'day Dave,
I went to the Working With Wood Show in Canberra yesterday.
Three hour drive from Wagga. Fairly dissapointed in the show, it seems to be going down hill over the last few years. A lot of the exhibiters of past years are not attending.
Even so a good day out and managed to spend more than I should have. :D:)

Thanks everyone, yep I went to the Wood Show this weekend, I also spent more than I should have but really that's what money is for.

Bought some wood, some tools and a thing for my whippersnipper that I probably didn't need. It won't be the first or last time.
