Hi all,
after my dad expressed an interest in woodturning, I decided to resurrect my first lathe (a SuperCheap Auto special), which had accumulated a bit of rust and neglect.
I did a bit of googling, and found Rustoleum getting pretty consistent thumbs-ups. So, off to Bunnings for a can of Silver Hammered.
During the spraying, I had a few problems, but wasn't sure if it was the can, my technique, or my understanding of the product.
Anyway, last night I sent off an email, with some attached pics, and this morning received a phone call wanting to set things right. I had the basis of the hammered finish explained to me, verification that it should spray just like any other spray can, and apology for the problematic can, and an offer of replacement can(s) delivered to my home.
Thumbs Up, and Thank You to Zinssers - far more than I expected over an $11 can of paint!
Just goes to show that there ARE still companies who care about their customers!
I'll be buying Zinssers-branded paint again, just like I'll continue buying Blundstones, and probably NOT buying Hungry Jacks (after being stuffed around multiple times by uncaring staff and management last night)
Cheers,
Andrew
