When I was on my honeymoon in the Crown Casino, we had been doing very
badly at the casino tables.
The I told the bride, "I have a hunch that I can turn our luck around if
I go down to the casino alone."
Once in the casino, I put a dollar into each of two slot
machines. I hit the jackpot on both of them and walked away
with $10,000. I then played blackjack for a couple of hours
until I had $50,000 in chips. Next, I played poker and upped
his winnings to $100,000.
I was about to cash in my chips when I got a hunch that my
luck hadn't run out. So I took all my money and placed it on
Black at the roulette table, hoping to double my money. The
ball landed on Double Zero.
I returned to my room. The bride asked, "How did you do?"
I shrugged and said, "I lost two dollars."
